Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Program was started in GCET Jammu in the year 1994 with an initial intake of 30 students which was later enhanced to 60 in the year 2015.The department has excellent facilities in the core and emerging areas of Electronics and Communication like Embedded systems, IOT, VLSI, Microprocessors, Digital Electronics, Microwave and Communication etc. To complement this, the department has well stocked laboratories with various modern equipment’s to enable the students to keep pace with the fast changing technology. The department has always strived to inculcate the very best in students so that they can face the challenges offered to them by the industry. Close interaction with the industry has led to evolution of a teaching system, which produces diligent and erudite engineers. The passes out students have excelled both in higher education and in industry.
